Dripping in Atlanta-seasoned, Birmingham-flavored sauce, is burgeoning rapper, Juney. Toting nothing more than a couple freestyles, and list of effortless bangers, the Alabama native gives us “Lil Juney”; an opus for the streets of the South. Juney shows no mercy on this eight-track EP, unleashing lyric after lyric, and melody after melody, with zero clemency towards the competition. Although, he is joined by a phenomenal cast of features (RL Reno, BallOut, and LilOne), his raw, street rapping, partnered with a fantastic wield of autotune, clearly pinpoint Juney as the star of the show. Glints in the music are undoubtedly Atlantan, however, the bounce of the project is as Birmingham as it gets. The fusion is a recipe for consecutive, modern-trap hits; and that’s exactly what “Lil Juney” consists of. In the span of eight-tracks, Juney flawlessly represented his two hometowns, and put himself in the mix of climbing Southern artists. The hand of “Lil Juney” is destined to emerge from the underground and grip the streets, with nothing getting in its way.
