AdELA releases new song "Love For You" ft. Skyzoo
What a dynamic duo AdELA and Skyzoo make! AdELA recently dropped a new substance packed single titled "Love For You ft. Skyzoo". The song makes you look within yourself and think about all of the people in your own life who you have unconditional love for. AdELA makes a strong comeback with “Love For You,” the first song from her forthcoming EP Dreamers & Thinkers, the follow up to her critically-acclaimed 2015 debut Off the Burner. Graced with an opening verse from Skyzoo, “Love For You” features the emcees paying homage to the things that matter most. The song is available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and Spotify. Skyzoo acknowledges his ride or die companion, comparing their relationship to the lead characters in the 1990 film Mo’ Better Blues starring Denzel Washington and Joie Lee. “Could it get any Mo’ Better? / I’m Bleek Gilliam and my Indigo so set up / We from the clubs, the montclairs and Rolexes / By any means, we necessarily for whatever.”
On AdELA’s verse, she gives props to her parents, her crew, and her man. The skilled lyricist showcases her talent, rapping, “Riding ghost in the Roadster with my cosanostra / Toast to the friends / Hold it down like they supposed ta.”
Skyzoo and AdELA’s chemistry is comparable to male and female hip hop records from legendary teamings Mary J. Blige and Method Man, Jay Z and Foxy Brown and Notorious B.I.G. and Lil Kim. “‘Love For You’ is a feel good hip hop soul record,” AdELA explains. “Skyzoo and I had great timing in recording the song as he was taking off on an European tour. We were also fortunate enough to meet in New York to shoot the video. It has that classic Hip Hop/R&B collaboration feel to it between Skyzoo, myself and the soulful sound that C-Kay1, STREETRUNNER, and Tarik Azzouz bring to the table.
