Mitt Holly - "Moon Hopper"

Mitt Holly, was introduced to music composition in 4th grade, first becoming accustomed to the alto saxophone. He learned to read and play music at a rapid rate and made the switch to drums in high school. Mitt is completely self-taught on the drums and learned by playing to Sum 41 and Blink 182 songs. Sophomore year of high school, he fell in love with hip-hop music and would study rap composition and flow from the likes of Kanye West, OutKast, and Ludacris. He began writing rap songs in high school and recorded his first track, a remix to Wiz Khalifa's "Black and Yellow," Junior year in college at Colorado State University when one of Mitt's roommates dared him to make a song. In college, he wrote and recorded over 100 songs, only a few of which were ever released. After graduating college with a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Exercise Science, Mitt moved to California where he formed a hip-hop duo, headlining shows on a monthly basis. After 3 years of living in California, he moved to Hawaii, where he now resides. Mitt is currently working on several music videos and an extensive marketing strategy to gain attention and create a fan base. His sound can be described as hip-hop anthems with melodic hooks. Be on the lookout for several single releases and live performances in 2021.
