Gentry Fox releases new song “Assimilation”

Gentry Fox comes to us from the state of Wyoming who balances a vast array of titles and positions. At the end of the day however, it's his strong passion for music that drives him to achieve. Growing up, Fox relocated to Utah and it was at this moment in time that he began to gain the respect of his peers while carving a name for himself in the local Salt Lake City area. After a few years, Gentry returned to his hometown of Rock Springs, Wyoming and released his freshman effort, "Rare Demo Shit".

Fast forward to 2018, Fox is now prepared to release the follow up of his debut album with "Rare Demo Shit (Vol 2)". With the announcement, he drops the aggressive "Assimilation" single. Ear piercing strings, slowed down vocal backings and fast paced hi hats set the stage for Fox to wild out over.

The song comes to a close with a key moment from Adam Sandler's "Billy Madison" movie. The excerpt is from the scene where Billy (Sandler) takes on Eric Gordon (Bradley Whitford) for ownership of his father's business in a academic decathlon. Listen to the song on Soundcloud and stay tuned for "Rare Demo Shit (Vol 2)" to release sometime this coming winter. -Barry Quigley
